How do you define Gospel? Cece Winans or Amy Grant?!

That’s a big umbrella… ☂️

Diki, very true. I define Gospel music? I just turned 90, so I am in the older type of Gospel music.
Thanks for your help, John C.

Blessed be the rock
Celebrate Jesus
Come, now is the time to worship
God is good all the time
Great and Mighty is He
Holy Spirit
How I love this man called Jesus
I will praise the Lord
Lord I lift your Name on High
Mighty is our God
My life is in you Lord
No Other Name
Praise the Lord
Sanctuary
The name of the Lord
There's something about His name
This is the day
Turn your eyes upon Jesus
We bring the sacrifice of praise
We bring the sacrifice of praise
What a mighty God we serve

It might be worth checking on whether anyone has some Yamaha conversions. That brand tends to support the older gospel player better than any other.

I’d also take a listen to any legacy Roland country styles, as a lot of US old time gospel has a pretty strong country influence…

I have StyleWorks XT and I've messed with conversions. IMO Yamaha styles don't convert "faithfully" to Roland, probably because there are too many style control parameters that Yamaha, Korg, and even Casio (!) have, but Rolands lack. My solution was to let the Roland decode my key presses, sending full triads and tetrads to a Yamaha via MIDI. Ultimately I decided that I could live with the Roland styles for the Pop / Singer-songwriter stuff I like to play.

It's really a shame that Yamaha never made a module. One of these days I'm going to build the worlds smallest dual-brand arranger with a Fatar-49 controller, BK-7m and a QY-100!
