Ouch! ...I'm glad I play keyboard..

Looks like my left hand too But it is ok cos it doesn't hurt because of the callouses built up over the years.

Is not uncomfortable at all. Sometimes, it is fun, after a wait person tells you to be careful about a hot plate to just pick it up and smile! If you play enough bass and don't use a pick, both hands are calloused.

Looks like those fingers have only been on the strings for a couple weeks at best. When I was playing a 12-string Yamaha in a smoke filled bar, my fingers always looked a lot worse than that. Today, I couldn't play that 12-string for more than 10 minutes without having to stop for the pain.
