Most of us use arranger styles or Midi files as accompaniment. But of lately i heard some are also Deejaying.. But did you realise that modern day Deejays like tiesto actually create their own music (beats) live on stage.

I am a big fan of the ableton live matrix view thats shown in this video that shows how you can mix certain rythmic arpeggios intoo a beat...

Now use Karma, or an Arranger pattern to play a bass on top of that. and use your right hand to jam away and solo on top of the beats while triggering and stopping new beats in Ableton live..

modern day dance music goes much further then just mixing several pre-recorded reccords back to back. It even allows deejays to create their own beats live on stage.

Is anyone else using Ableton live on top of their arrangers?

Personally i think that such a matrix view would work very well with arranger styles too, allowing you to much more possibllities then just 4 varriations? Or would this be to much for most of you?

Seems most of you golden oldies (no pun intended) dont see any use for a sequencer Matrix added to an (arranger) workstation?

Obviously the wrong forum.. But it certainly is one of the feautures i hope they will be adding to Live-styler or VArranger, this would giver certain people a reason to switch to software arrangers.
