1- Has the Tyros 3 Vocalizer been "UPDATED" from previous models...?

2- Has the Tyros 3 MFD been upgraded to include "Saving TRANSPOSE" also from previous models...?

Thank You in advance

And while we're at it here's #3...which I forgot to ask. LOL

Can Tyros3 Play Styles & SMF files simultaneously like the Midjay?

In answer to question 1, I guarantee Yamaha would have told you about it if they had.

I don't know the answer to question 2, but you can download the manual and check if noone else here knows.

quote YPKO forum....

"Hi all,

Spoke to Yamaha tech this morning, I asked the same question, told me that harmonizer is the same as in Tyros2."

I believe I predicted this one...

Yamaha have no hardware vocal harmonizers, and their software one is lame. Without the technology already in some product somewhere, it's hard to imagine where Yamaha would find this code...

Yamaha usually prefer to stay 'in-house', leveraging their own technology across product lines, so a deal with competitors like Digitech or TC (who are already signed to Korg) seems unlikely.

Basically, I wouldn't expect to see any significant improvement in a Yamaha vocalizer until there was a successful HARDWARE vocalizer in Yamaha's lineup...

Yamaha harmonizer has always been a hugh turn off for me..

If the T3 is the same ole same ole, than that's a real bummer.

YPKO quote.....
"From my reading of the manual, the MusicFinder has not changed. There is no upgrade to it or ability to do anything that the older Yamaha's could do.
