I have just finished watching and LISTENING to Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival 2007 and it has completely blown me away. The amazing artists and the total groove of the music is magnificent. Disc 2 is a total gem, with John Mayer, Los Lobos, Jeff Beck and Buddy Guy playing superb two-song sets.

But the absolute best of this DVD is Clapton's set on disc 2. "Isn't It a Pity" (George Harrison's song) brought goosebumps to my skin. Then 5 songs with STEVE WINWOOD sent me into ecstacy.

This is one of THE BEST music videos I have ever heard. If you're a guitar fan, or a blues fan or a child of the 60's, don;t miss this excellent DVD. Borrow it, or even buy it if you have to. I give it 10 thumbs up.

23 years old (I think) and holding more than her own against Vinnie Colaiuta (the world's best drummer, IMO!) and Jeff (who still defies gravity, IMO). A lot of comparisons to Jaco are floating around.

A must see set...

Nice to see the great Sonny Landreth, too.

Get this DVD... even if there are NO arranger players on it!

Nigel and I and others have mentioned Tai multiple times in the last few months. I saw her at a summer NAMM several years ago. She's 21 and from Australia. At NAMM, she was demoing an upscale bass...don't remember the name...maby Sedowsky. Great player with lot's of potential. Spotted her playing with Jeff Beck a while back on something Nigel posted.
