Thanks apprciate that. I'm deciding whether to buy a a G70 or a PSR 3000. Reading the manual will help. Not sure whether I really want to spend the cash on the G70 when the PSR 3000 may do the job.

Wow, they increased the polyphony of the G70 with the lastest OS update patch. It was 128 polyphony without the patch. I wonder what it is now? 256 perhaps? It would be a dream machine if the polyphony did indeed double. But I suspect a more modest increase. Does anybody know for sure how much?

Best regards,
Mike

What has been improved is the part of total polyphony available for style playing (48 voices instead of 34), but the total polyphony remains 128 voices.
It is impossible to improve total polyphony without hardware changes.

Just as I suspected. Thanks for clarifying what was increased o3bor! A Style playing polyphony increase is still a very welcome addition to the G70. Kudos to Roland for their constant and enthusiastic support for their new flagship Arranger!

Hardware, as I suspected, would be the only way to increase, as you say, 'total' polyphony. But I wasn't 100% sure about that.

Best regards,
Mike
