Scott,

That was probably ebay's mistake. However, I would not be surprised to see an 88 key hammer action keyboard with today's TYROS technology coming on the market in the next couple of years. My guess it would be in the form of a new advanced Clavinova. At the same time, a new version of TYROS will be wowing us with new features that make the present one blase'. Isn't marketing technology wonderful!

Yes,it's a Fantom alright. The listing was ended early, so they could sell to the high bidder at that time. That's a new one if I've ever heard one before. Sounds like they're reeling in fast, before the fish gets off the hook, line and sinker. If you notice they're based in London, but by the bigness of their hearts are even giving FREE shipping in USA. HO, HO, HO, watch out Santa, Xmas is back.

Ebay is a great tool, for both buyers and sellers, but it can be scary too. I guess one has to look closely for any telltale signs of less than honest postings on it. For anything new, I still prefer to go with my local dealer whenever possible.

I wonder what Roland does for an encore now ? I've seen the Fantom S drop substantially in price at the Music stores compared to what it cost before the Motif ES was released. I wanted so much to like the Fantom because of the OS and layout, but I just didn't like the overall soundset vs either the Motif or Triton Studio. Based on that and my conversations with others who sell keys or have tried all of them, I gather that a lot of others thought the same.
