I went into the sound settings, and made a few changes. Seems like I just wanted a brighter sound, and not more sustain, as I first thought. Here's what I changed.
I think I only edited the Sound, and Controller settings. (mostly the filter)
See if anyone else likes the added brightness. I think it adds expressiveness ... oh, and I use Velocity curve Soft 1, but that result will vary with your striking intensity.

Hi Dave,
Just tried your setting. Brilliant. Has a crisper sound about it. Great for my melody voice.
Thank you.

Don’t know if it’s as simple as that, but, off the top of your head, which setting would one have to change to give a warmer sound to strings. I have a string sample and it sounds really harsh.
Is there any type of setting in particular that might help?

Yes, The cutoff slider needs to go to the left for warmer. It works in conjunction with the resonance - play with both to get desired warmth!

Thank you Dave,
appreciate your help in pointing me in the right direction, I wouldn’t know where to start, otherwise.

Hi Dave,
thank you, thank you,

It has helped to make them far more useable.

I could have been moving sliders all week, and still not come up with the correct combination to move.

LOL - sometimes I miss sliders, and buttons. At least they live inside, now!
