Will this system cover around 200 persons? more or less sometimes. The qsc kw181 and kw153 are too heavy for me now. Also, will the 12 inches sub give a more tight bass and kick.I could never get a tight kick and bass from the kw181.Thank you for any inputs.

I had the DXR 12's sub, system....and so many other conventional Pa w/sub combos,...too much to carry and set up, stands, covers, etc, frown ....but once I went with the LD Maui 28's I never looked back, sound and coverage is amazing!.. headphone

Check out the LD maui 28 units...

Most any sub added to a good 8, or 10 will do that size crowd with plenty of thump. I have the K8's and I added a Behringer 12" Sub. That's all the extra ooomph I needed.

I have the Behringer too, but find my little Logitech does just as well with a smaller crowd, and, it is half the size and weight.

It alao depends on what kind of gigs you do, and the music you play on those gigs.

Good point-if you are talking about loud rock, an 8' can't match a 12 or 15.

i used to own that exact system it is good and no problem doing 200 easy most important is where you are doing it outdoors you need more sub indoors less so if is a concert in the park you will use every bit of it

indoors much less in fact it will be too much

now use K 12 SUB and K8 for main and dxr 10 for extra or monitors

just as powerful and much easyr to move

I found YUamaha sub very tuff to move very bulky and tuff to lift

K12 sub dual sub 12 in with K8 great combo for 200 plus
