Just ordered it. I'll let you know. Neat for a long flight overseas.

Sorry, but it looks like a gimmick to me.
No sound, not enough frets to play anything meaningful.

Here is a slightly better solution, but still to small to play a lot of things...
At least you get sound.

They have a small ball and a unit with four individual springs you push down with your fingers. This gives you individual finger strength.

You may not be fingering chords but you will have a better/stronger left hand. (If you’re a righty) Gimmicks are short lived.

IMHO, John C.

I'm just a toy junkie. And, this thing is perfect for left hand dexterity training.

It is what it it, and I will reverently place it in one of the many stacks around here with unused toys of the day.

Got the unit, and it is neat, but only moderately beneficial. No sound, but mostly beneficial for practicing rapid chord changes and fingerings. I travel a lot, so this can be thrown in an over night bag and is "better than nothing".

Didn't expect much...didn't get much for about $40.00 with shipping.

I will use it on trips longer than 2 days; particularly on the 11 hour flights I take overseas three-four times a year.

I know this post is about using the Acoustic Pocket Guitar when traveling, but I am from the old school of self-improvement. Scales up and down the finger board and then arpeggios. All up and down the fingerboard, not across.

Lately I felt like my hands were not doing what I wanted them to do so I did the above for three weeks – the change was fantastic.

Now – on a plane, if it’s guitar time, I picture major chord formations on the guitar and how I can either extend them or substitute them with another chord.

If there is move time I visualize the Scale modes that are played against a chord and why they are being used.

OK, my apology; I know we are talking about a fun pocket guitar but I could not miss the opportunity to share how I use my time. There are times when I am going to write a letter, or speak at a meeting and I’ll do the same thing. The mind tells the fingers.

Life is good, John C.
