Hi Folks

I encountered this problem on my last two gigs with my G70.

In the middle of a song the output right across the keyboard

begins to fade away before returning back to its original level.

This happened with two different styles.

Any suggestions ?

Frank

( No, i'm not buying a BK 9 ) computer

Very helpful, 'Dude!

Frank... is the problem repeatable? Do the same songs do it each time? (might be an issue with some sys-ex or a fadeout in the SMF)

Alternatively, did you accidentally hit the fadeout button? Or do you have fadeout assigned to D-Beam or F/S for that UPG?

First thing I'd do is backup your UPS and UPG's, then do a Factory Reset then load back the data. Then use those UPG's again.

It might be something different, but it sounds all the world like you accidentally triggered fade-out.

Thanks Diki

Yes I was thinking of a factory reset. it might be the best way

to "flush out" the problem.

How would I know if the D-beam is set to fade for a particular

style/UPG

Call up the UPG or style, trigger the D-beam and see if it fades out!
Or you could go into the menu and check the D-beam settings.

Could be a bad power supply regulator in the KB also, or bad PA amp.. did you buy the G70 USED?

Sorry about the gag smile I forget sometimes its not a British forum...the humour is very different in the US to the UK.

Anyway - are you sure its not your PA system or amplfier?

Thanks for all the suggestions.

As mentioned, I did have a dodgy lead at the weekend as well

I've also checked settings on the D Beam.

Donny, I have the G70 four years and I bought in the UK from a

shop, it looked as it was never gigged, maybe a display model.

Dude, all is forgiven, a bit painful though.
