I wanted to know what this town looked like this time last week:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-12731631

at 45 seconds in there is a white building, so I used google maps and travelled along the hight st until i found it!

I thought maybe it was mostly wooden buildings, but no...it is a normal small town. The reporter is standing on the crossroads of a junction. If you look carefully (center frame at 15seconds and again at 1:15) you can see another building with a blue logo on a tower. I found that too..it is a supermarket next door to a Toyota dealership (http://tinyurl.com/6zy6l5j). About now they would have been getting ready to go into work.

Those poor, poor people.

Looks Like The End Of The World, but they have been through hell before, and they shall survive and move on once again.

Amazing, but sad photos, thanks for the links
