mikey_maestro Member Registered: 07/12/07 Posts: 548 Loc: San Tan Valley, AZ	Posting from the hospital. After 3 weeks of being sick from a nasty virus, my wife Angela was admitted to the hospital this afternoon with a parotid (salivary) gland infection. They are going to put her on I.V. antibiotics for a couple of days. Happy thoughts and prayers would be appreciated. Porotid Gland infections can be extremely painful, but fortunately they usually respond quite well to antibiotic therapy. Hopefully, she'll be back home in a few days and life will return to normal.
