Hey you PSR-3000 guys out there. I'm in the market for a PSR-3k, and I have a couple of questions.

The AI Full chord recognition mode, how well does that work? Can you play like a pianist, and have the style follow you?

Can one use an external controller keyboard to play the PSR-3k? Like having the PSR recognize the chords played on the external controller keyboard? My old GEM CD2 can't do that.

How easy is it to program those Megavoices? Like when creating your own styles and songs?

How easilly available are styles that utilizes the Megavoices for download(freely) that is...

I can confirm that the AI full recognition mode works very well for me. I've been using that mode with a Fatar SL-880 (88 key controller) from day one and it works great.

If my music PC was up and running I'd record something for you, but my husband's got it all taken apart!

I'm curious how a piano player could trigger a chord. I don't own a PSR3K, but if I were to play in full keyboard mode and played the following notes in my left hand (C chord): C,G,C,E one after the other the keyboard would not recognize it as a C chord.
How can you trigger the chords without banging down full chords with your left hand?

My right hand seems to be the one that triggers most of the chords, even though I don't always play full chords. It's really quite clever how it works!

I'm talking about while in full keyboard mode, by the way.

Carrie tell your husband to stop taking your computer apart!
Thank you for the info! I can't wait to try it out, would be cool to hear a sample though...
