Hi,

hope everyone is keeping well..

The Tyros is really great - enjoying it very much.

Just wondering whether I could get the Tyros to automatically set Voices 2 & 3 to suit a new voice assigned to voice 1. Eg. if I select an electric piano to Voice1, can the Tyros automatically set voice 2 & 3 to a suitable voice like strings? - And if so, how?

Any help much appreciated,

Zalmi

NO. Zalmi, as far as I know, the Tyros includes no 'automatic' voice selection for parts(RT2,RT3) based on a new voice selection made to RT1. It's up to you to manually assign RT2 & RT3 accordingly.

Once you've selected new voice assignments to (LEFT,RT1,RT2,RT3) and want to save these settings, you can save these settings in Registration, or save the style along with the associated new OTS voices as a new USER style. - Scott

I think What you want to do is possible by setting up all 3 parts that you want and then saving the whole deal to a registration.
Would that work for you?
I hope that helps.

Thanks,
That resolves it.

I don't know why I thought it could do that - I think my old PSR 640 did it.

Never mind - would have been a useful...
