I just bought a Yamaha psr9000 pro to go along with my technics kn6500.
I tried several keyboards and I had the chance to give them back to my dealer when I didn't like them.
First I had a psr2000 , then a roland xp30 , then a ketron sd1 and now I have and I will keep (at last) the yamaha psr9000 pro.
I hope I won't regret this...
Greetings,
Alain

Alain...Pleased to hear you have just acquired a 9000PRO. I have had one now for just 8 weeks to go with my Roland EM2000. The Pro has turned out to be better than expected. Excellent Panel voices and much better styles than I had previously thought.

Make sure you have OS Ver 2.1 Installed, as there are a number of improvements and extra options for editing and you are also given a 2nd voice split in the right hand. You can download it with documentation if needed from any Yamaha site.

If you require any further input help just e-mail me......Graham UK

Alain,

I'm curious, what made you choose the Pro over the SD1?
I have the Pro myself, but I think the SD1 is also an outstanding instrument.

Greetings

Eric

Hello,
I have a technics kn6500 and I was looking for a second keyboard.
I tried the roland xp30 and then the ketron sd1.
They are both so complicated...Yamaha is known to be easy to operate.
The Ketron was a hell of a job to handle.
I had untill now many keyboards ...and I have experience with keyboards and computers but this one I didn't like. The sound was good...not so good as Yamaha and Technics..but this is a personal opinion.
Some men like woman with blond hair others with black hair...the main thing is that they have fun to play with it. When I say it...I mean a keyboard.

Greetings,
Alain
