I'm seriously considering purchasing the PSR-1000. Those having experience with that model, what do you think of it?

Thanks!

i know that by now you probably aren't checking this anymore, and youve probably already bought a keyboard, but what the hey. the keyboard rules. but if you got the money, you should go for the 2000. any questions, let me know. zack

Thanks for the response, Zack. Yes, I did buy the 1000. Aside from the vocals and organ flutes I'm not sure the 2000 is worth the extra money. The 1000 seems to have pretty much the same features. It would have been fun to fool around with the vocals, though. I may upgrade at some point. But when I do I'll likely go to the 9000 or whatever has replaced it by then.

yeah, from what ive seen, the only things the 2000s got that the 1000 doesn't is the modulation wheel, master EQ, the organ flutes and the whole microphone thing. also double the user memory, and a few more voices and styles. but im not close to using my memory up, and i can get the styles off the net, and i dont sing, and although the master eq and the voices would be nice, i dont think its worth another 200 bucks. but if you have found any good dance/rock beats, let me know. im still looking. thanks. zack
