Hello,

I have a question about the psr-2000. When I say switch foot pedal 2 to something other then sustain (say fill self) and I power off then on the keyboard, the pedal is sustain again. When I use a registration and save it, I still need to load the registration before I get my settings back (which is kinda logical!)

Anyone know how It keeps setting like foot pedal when the power is turned back on? (like the psr-640 for instance)

Thanks!

Mm

it might be a little confusing now I read my post again

What I really want to know is: how can I configure my psr-2000 so, that It remembers the last setting before power off.

Thanks!

You can't.
Save your energy for re-writing the registration items that can't be remembered either. As cool as the 2000 is - it's still a few cards short of a full deck. Live with the limitations or dump it - there are no easy fixes for it's many woes.
It's a heck of a buy for the money, but it is not built for upgrades. Look for a replacement REAL soon. It's due.

Thanks Dave!

It is not what I wanted to hear because I bought it only 6 months back! My old 640 did remember the last settings so I never thought this one wouldn't.

Yup - we've all had our disapointments with the 2000. If you can live with the limitations, it's a heck of a buy, but I no longer can !

Hello,
The way I do this is I use a general setup your volumes, accomp.your foot Switch, I have a foot volume control so I set that. Sometimes I use it for foot pitch bend. If you what your auto accomp. to come on with this setting turn it on. Now I put this in the first registration 1-8 of the first bank! Bank-1 of the users registration.

These are the buttons you have to push when you first start takes about 5 sec. & your ready to play!
(Quote from Scottyee)
(1) Press RED power button,
(2) Select Registration Bank button (J)
(3) Select a specific Registration bank (A-J)
(4) Select a specific Registration (1-8)

Hope this helps,
Nobby
