Using Step Recording enter a 12 bar blues progression on pad #5.
You record the progression in the key of “C” major.

Basic Blues progression
C C C C7 F7 F7 C C G7 F7 C G7

Select;
1-Program menus
2-Performance pads
3-Select bank to record on – A B or C
4-Select pad #5
5-Select play settings
6-Make sure START is on Synchro and LOOP is turned to ON.

The are thousands of songs that use a 12 bar blues progression – What you do is to enter the chord with your left hand and then allow the pad to control the progression., leaving your left hand free to do whatever. The chord you enter must be the root chord of the key— C for C major –F for F major.

The pad can be used with many styles having the same time signature. 4/4 3/4 Ect. For 4/4 we have Blues, Big Band, Rock – on and on.
