The six play-along songs "released" to date
by the Jaybirds on Cees Schenk's web site
(htp:www://keso.nl/) are a source of pure
pleasure and enjoyment to hear and to use.

I hope that many SZ participants find them
as helpful, useful and as much fun as I do.

After careful (hilarious?) observation of what these pro's can do with "Digital
Rejuvenation" displayed on a Technics
keyboard display (don't miss seeing it on
Cees's site), I can understand why and how
their results are superb. Colin Leaney's
bio, pre "Digital Rejuvenation" shows him
at 72 years and counting.

I wonder if they would share information
on how they produce the printed score PDF
file (Joyce?), and the K7 .btm display
files (Joy?), with such readability,
uniformity, clarity and stability of
position as they leap-frog from image to
image on the K7 display sequence.

How, and with what tools, do they produce
the music lead sheet, and the images used
for the displayS?

Their professional, and totally useable
results make my efforts by scanning fake book pages and inserting themin my
sequences look shabby and amateurish by
comparison.

For example, their song "Please", by Colin
and Ted Rose, shows clarity and fine
readability on both the full lead-sheet
and the thirteen images used on the K7
sequence display.

Hello Merrill,

Many thanks for your kind words regarding our Playalongs. They are all prepared for the 7000, as I mentioned in my response to Tony Mads in the other thread here, since that is the keyboard all the Jaybirds have. Yes, I remember the older version of Please (I believe it was a Bing Crosby hit). I tried to write an original lyric, however, even if the play on words between "Please" and "pleas" was used. I am most thrilled that you consider my lyric superior to that one. I will pass your printing questions on the other Jaybirds for their consideration and get back to you.

Again, thank you for your kind response!

Ted Rose (the Yankee Jaybird!)
