Hi! Does anyone know why a splendid effect such as Acoustic Illusion (available as one of the "Effect" buttons on models such as KN5000, 1600 and 1400) is discontinued on later models, including the KN7000, 6500, 6000, 2600 and 2400?

By the way, there are 4 types of Acoustic Illusion: Standard, Percussive, Symphonic and Deep Space. This effect is global, as are Reverb, Chorus and Multi.

I hope that I am not alone in thinking that Acoustic Illusion can really occupy a category of its own, even though it probably can be served or simulated by one or more of the other "Effect" buttons.

I always assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that Acoustic Illusion was absent from later models because it was "built-in" in later models.

On a similar note, I always thought this was why the "Dynamic Accompaniment" feature on the KN3000 disappeared on the 5000 too.

Yes, after the KN3000 I upgraded to the 5000 and later to the KN7000 mainly for the better sound en secondly more styles. But yes, I still miss one of the best features of the KN3000: Dynamic Accompany. By default it was swtiched on on my keyboard.
