Hello Lecra...

here are the Steps to save your
Data to Disk:

1. Disk-Button
2. Save
3. Technics Format
(if you have make it in TechnicsFormat)
4. Insert Blank Disk in FloppyDrive
5. Give the song a name
6. Save

That's is all...

Hi Thomas,

thank you for your tip, but thats not that what i mean.

I want to record a song on my KN6000 and then export this song as MIDI-File to a floppy (for editing on my PC par example).

It this possible?

lecra......If you mean recording a song using the style backings into the Easy Record option of the KN6000. When you save you have a choice of Technics or GM Mode, selecting GM will save the file as a MIdi File.

Unfortunately the KN's fall down badly here because all you will have are the notes you actually played yourself. None of the style backing tracks will have been saved to the Midi File, The backing parts go to a Control Track which when the File is save in Technics mode will then tell the keyboard what backing parts to play.
