Audrey, the song title is "It's Been A Long Long Time." I'll check to see if I have it. If so will send.

Wikifonia may also be a nice place to search smile

Btw, you can also transpose the sheet before dovload, nice feature.

I find it amazing how certain songs invoke particular memories ... for whatever reason, when I hear that song I pleasantly recall visiting the home of an aunt and uncle, sometime during the late 40's ...

BTW, I'm much too YOUNG, to be this OLD !!! grin

Hi Aud,

This is such a well known song, I thought everyone over 60 knew it. (smile) If you sing it, change the word, "me" to "it" and trust me, you will definitely get your audiences attention.

Yes it does bring back many happy memories, particularly of the war years. I lived near an airfield and my Mum and Dad had two airmen billeted with us. Even at that tender age I could sycopate the lefthand on a piano and was regularly asked to play this tune. (No! I'm not going to tell you all how many moons ago that was. Suffice to say "I am as old as my tongue and a little older than my teeth") - now you work it out.... ha! ha!

Thanks again everyone for your help.

Audrey
