For years I have been using Goldwave Ver 5.04 program to convert my KN7000 wav files into the WMA format in order to post on my site for those who do not have a KN7000.

All of a sudden now, the Goldwave Program does not give me the option to convert to WMA format. It gives plenty of other formats - but not the WMA format.

Has anybody else had this problem, or any suggestions as to what I can do?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Larry,
I also use Goldwave for the same purpose and have never experienced your problem.
Just a suggestion - The WMA option is the last option in the 'Save as Type' pull-down menu and you have to scroll down to see it.
Even though you have obviously used the program dozens of times, could it be that you are having a 'Senior Moment'

If this is not the case, then you could always try re-installing the program.

Problem solved!!

I was able to find the site for Goldwave and downloaded their newest update version (version 5.18) and now everything works OK.

I will be posting new songs pretty soon now.

Thanks Bill, I don,t know why the old version 5.01 stopped working, but I'm OK now. Thanks again.
