Hi there.
Can any of you kind Technics people send me preferably the style for The Mavericks Dance the night away, or the midi file that would play back on a Technics KN5000.
A very good friend of mine who doesn't own a PC has been after this for a while. He has a KN5000, 6000 & 6500 but has asked for it to be for the KN5000.
Forgot to ask how I get them off PC to the Technics. I can stick the style onto a disk but I think my mate has a SD card for one of his keyboards. I've got a card reader but is there any software you need to install onto a PC in order to transfer these across or is it just a simple case of drag and drop?

Please send to craig1@cornholio.nildram.co.uk

Thanks in advance.

Hi Craig,

If your friend has the KN5000 Reprise Disks (1,2 & 3) No. 2 has a Disco and the 80s Disco on it both of which are good for Dance the Night Away.

Hope this helps.

Aud (U.K.)

Thanks for your replies.
If Bill is reading this then any help would be appreciated. I've had one good version of the midi file, but my m8 would still like the style as he'd rather play the song himself rather than muting/erasing tracks from a midi file. Obviously with the style he could also use it for other similar songs that would fit

The sequence I did was composed on my KN7000 and is obviously not compatible with a KN5000 If you want to hear a WMA version, you'll find it on the WMA page of my website : http://www.willumspages.co.uk/ - it's number 54.
Maybe the KN7000 style could be backward converted to KN5000 with Styleworks ?? Whadja say Roger ??

My m8 Geoff has a KN7000 as well (I didn't realise until I just phoned him), so he's asked if he can have it for that. He would prefer the KN5000 as he gigs with that more, but I suppose the song/style on the KN7000 is better than nothing at all - cheers.

Just downloaded it from your group 4 Willum, thanks.

Hi Craig,
That style is not the one which I used for my sequence. If you want my original style - as used in the WMA version mentioned above, send me an email.............
