I really had some big trouble trying to midi my 2 boards (Roland & KN6) until I thought about restoring my defaults to my KN6. From a test that Roland helped me conduct, I knew the Roland was transmitting, but the KN6 was not receiving. I went into Initial Settings on the KN6 and restored everything to default settings. That did NOT work until a friend of mine told me to hold the lower C,D and E keys while turning on power. If that didnt work hold down the first octave below C...3 keys (F#, G#, A#). I dont know which one worked but one of them did. The two boards can now talk to one another. I wrote this note for information purposes only. My only question is besides using the KN6 initial setup disk, what other way can I restore default settings to the KN6?

Hi Mike

If you take a look in your manual, at page 176,
maybe thats the solution for your question?

Happy Playing.

If you don't have the manual:
Press Program Menu Button
Select Control
Select Initial
Choose desired options with arrow buttons
Press OK after set the variables you want.
