Alec will be the best to answer this question. What is the difference between these two books? If you have one, do you need the other? Would the latest, "Getting The Most From Your KN7000" have everything covered in the earlier book by having a KN7000 and not just a KN6000?

Hi KN.

I have both these books(I had a kn6000 when I bought the first one) and the video for KN7000 and I personally consider them to be invaluable in the quest to conquer the inner workings of the KN's. They are a virtual walk through, step by step instruction book. I think that the one for the KN7000 + video was done and offered by Technote, because of the success of Alecs' book for the kn6000,sold through Walt Tenay. My advice would be: if you haven't got them, then you are certainly missing out. Alec did also produce an update on disk of certain features specially for the KN7. Oh,in answer to your question, Yes! I would say you needed them both.
Regards
Peter B

thanks, Peter.

The 7000 book was specifically for the new features of the 7000, though I put a "getting started" chapter in. The great majority of the 6000 book is applicable for the 7000 and not duplicated, the practical exercises were out of date since the presets changed on the new model, but I did a free update including disk contents, obtainable for purchasers of the 6000 book from Walt Tenay, which enables all of the practical step by step creation exercises for styles, pads, sounds etc etc to be done on the 7000, thus a full update.

Both books are now completely sold out of their print re-runs, but there was still demand so I was asked to make colour adobe versions of both for mailing or available on compact disk respectively.
