Hi: I recently upgraded to a KN6000 and have not figured out how to get into the very large song base of already songs to be played. Could anyone tell me how to do this. I am presently awaiting a Video on the KN6000.

Mike

Hi Mike,

The KN6000 does not have a base set of "songs" in it, only a few demo songs.

Pre-done songs on the Kn6k are played using the floppy driver or if it has one a built in disk drive. The songs can be either standard midi files or songs done for the Kn6K.

Here are two place you can download some songs and then unzip them to a disk.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the 'Plug' Heather. Only Volume1 and Volume2 on my website, are sutable for KN6000 - the remainder are KN7000 files.
Some time ago, Bill Forrest (BEBOP) circulated a series of '20 for 1' collections of songs. These were sequences freely contributed by many members of the Forum. Bill may still have them available, but if not, I have them all archived on disc. If there are no objections, I could copy them to you Mike.

HI ORB,
I still have them in the archives but it is ok by me if you want to send them out. I am sure the people that recorded them will not object as they have already given me a release to distribute them. My time is limited right now as I am working on several projects as usual
Best to all
