Had no trouble in protecting my Split Point setting with the 6000. Cannot find the setting with the 7000. Thought it was in Data Protection but it is not there.

Looking in "How Do I Do That" page 12, Alec writes there are 7 settings. The 7000 has 6. Where is the setting in the 7000?

Some of you new members will have a lot of your problems with the manual solved when our good friend Alec puts his new manual to press. The one for the 6/500 was a great help.

Walter,
Guess I am getting old. It was there on the 6000, but I guess if you only use it once in setting up your keyboad you can forget.........hope it's not a "Senior Moment".

Not so Fran, you remembered where it was on the 6000. When you get old three things happen...

1. You forget names.

2. You forget faces.

3. three....three...three.....I've forgotten!

Good health. Walter.

Fran,
Don't feel bad -- I had my KN7000 about 8 weeks before I realalized that there was a "page 2" on the panel memory button.
Of course I never forget anything -- since I'm almost 78. Maybe when I "get old" it will be different. Ha Ha!
Happy New Year,
Walt

Getting Old!!!
The time to start really worrying is when you keep looking at your 7000 and wonder why there's no black & white keys, just a big silver one
