So as some of you know I own an Audya 4 and still have the Ketron XD3

Recently my old XD3 started giving me grief with constant reboots and became inoperable
I reached out to AJ via email and we exchanged many many emails in which he basically troubleshooted my arranger module. I felt really lucky to have someone really wanting to help me out. AJ concluded that I had a power distributor issue.
I asked if I could drive to his shop to fix my XD3 as I needed it fixed yesterday.
He agreed without hesitation so I took the drive from NJ to Delaware, 2 1/2 hrs later I arrive. I arrive at the address he provided which was his house on a Monday evening, 6:45 to be exact. He then introduced me to his family.
Afterwards we went down to his basement where all the action happens, the repairs, recording, development and installation of AJAMSONIC, etc.

He began to operate on my XD3, testing voltages, etc. Within seconds he found my problem, grabbed the solder gun and fixed it. Then started taking everything else apart , cleaning all contacts, removing screen, upgraded my EPROM chip for HD, addede more Flash Rom Memory. Let's just say he hooked me up BIG TIME!!!
All this in under 1 hr.,
He then showed me his AJAMSONIC project. He played. I played. I was quite impressed. It truly is an amazing upgrade for the Audya.

Before we knew it it was past 11pm. 4 hrs had passed.
I then insisted I had to leave as I had another 2 1/2 hrs to drive back home. I got home at 1:45am

AJ skipped dinner and quality time with his family to help me out. I felt bad but at same time quite impressed with his dedication to Ketron, to AJAMSONIC, to help me on a Monday evening.
I mean I could not even call Roland or others after hours for help. In fact I'd be lucky to get any help for my Roland G-70 being that it's out of warranty. Maybe I'd get help right after they'd ask me for my Credit Card #
And to be able to goto AJ's house with an XD3 which is probably 8 yrs old and have him work on it as I looked over his shoulder was amazing...

I'm just upset that he did not invite me upstairs for dinner. Maybe next time AJ? :-)

The reason for this post is simple.. I want to say thanks to AJ.
My intention is not to promote him or his product but just to share my positive experience

Ketron is very lucky to have someone as devoted to the brand as him even though he's not a Ketron employee.
He is a true gentleman who loves what he does and does not hesitate to go the extra mile.
AJ's customer service is beyond anything I've ever experienced, and I have dealt with many others of the likes of Roland, Korg, Yamaha, Kurzweil, etc
His AJAMSONIC is also quite amazing as you can read on Hennis post which I link here:

Leezone,

You're welcome and welcomed anytime. It was great seeing you both and a great experience indeed.

Due to the time of your arrival (late in the evening), I couldn't have you come to the main office in Wilmington, DE so I had you come home and I am glad you felt comfortable at the "mini-lab", and we were able to put a smile on your face, despite all the wires, circuit boards and you being scared of getting 'shocked' :-)
