I'm sorry but if you ever tried to sequence a midifile, from scratch and if you reallize how many DAYS of working for a good one, well balanced and natural, that you'll see that it really worth to pay some 3-4$ for a song.

For every good midi file out there there's just as equal amount of bad ones. Google will come back with alsorts of sites (some that are nothing to do with what you want) but there are some search engines that specialise in finding midi files and kar files only.
I'm sure someone has posted a link to some search tool on here before but I've no idea what the site was. Maybe someone will read this and post it? It's a case of trial and error, visiting sites and taking pot luck with them.

i found cybermidi.com to be gr8 value, you pay a one off fee for membership and you are entitled to unlimited downloads from their extensive catalogue, also they do a 'select' section which are midi's made from the top companies (hands on etc) you get a considerable discount for these but the catalogue ones which are of an amazing quality are very useable.
