Hi: I wonder what is the wish list of the future Ketron flagship.
Well: here my 2 cents;
1.-Double (at least)the polyphony to 128.
2.-A faster procesor, so no "choke's" while playing using program with layer voices.
3.-Get the "new" acoustic guitar voices, similar to the PA1X ot Tyros, also like the Tutti (strings)sounds.
4.-Bigger screen and perhaps in color, Line inputs with level control.
5.-USB ports, and also multiple storage like Thumb drives, smart media, PC cards, etc., besides Hard disk, MP3
6.-Like a Midjay is steroids and with keys, newly design styles, perhaps a STYLE/PATTERN converter (From ANY brand) built in.....
7.-A better key action, User friendly interface, perhaps, a more continuos OS releases for X amount of time.
Well, what would you like to see in the "SD2" Plus??.

Better facility to call up suitable solo voices, similar to Yamaha's One-touch settings.
Multi-pads
Auto fill-ins, and better system for intros, endings, breaks, again similar to Yamaha

Plus onboard EQ for both mic inputs.

And for sure... keep the 76 keys and stay under 40 lbs.

The good news guys, is that Ketron DOES listen... and they HAVE implimented user suggestions in the past.

What I would like:

- 76 Keys!! (I wouldn't buy it if it was only 61)
- MP3 playing (storing the files on the HD)
- The best piano sound!
- A fine selection of fine electric piano sound, rhodes, etc, and organ (B3)
- a good key action (more closer to a real piano)
- 2 Line inputs with level control (Knobs)
- 2 Line Outputs with level control (Knobs) for monitoring
- Integrated "record" function, allowing us to record performances directly to HD on Wav format (and then transfer it via USB to the PC).
- VERY IMPORTANT: a volume control for the first mic with a KNOB, so we can adjust it very quickly, and a better reverb.
- A better interface between the keyboard and the PC: USB 2.0 interface.
- and of course, the size and weight of the SD1!

If this machine will come alive someday, I will surely trade it for my SD1!

- Better sampler managment
- more ram memory
- Load from disk while playing (not have to stop show)
- More flexible Arranger (to folow button push in any time of the style (from A to C or.. not only in DownBeat 1)
and support different time signal for different part of a pattern (3/4 for intro and 7/8 for A B C D ) roland does that 15 years now
whell is that so many?
