I’ve noticed a difference on my SD-1 in the Harmony feature (mostly at full and jazz) between rel.3.0b and 4.0a and I don’t know if it is a problem or not.(I’m not sure if it also happened in the rel.3.0b, but I think that it didn’t).

When passing a note for another in the right hand, the harmony feature only works correctly on the second note when the first is released completely. In some parts of the performance the sound became truncated.

Did anybody notice this?

SD_FAN,

The harmony feature was revised in 4.0a in order to avoid having harmonic-notes replicated during release of previous keys (when more than one key is pressed say to generate a chord) esp. for percussive sounds like Piano.

This is deliberate.

Thanks.

Thanks AJ,

Better this way.
I thought I had a problem in my keyboard.
