I have a T3 and am planning to experiment w/ a patch editor called SoundLib. Can anyone tell me what I hardware I need to add to my PC in order to be able to interface the T3 and my PC? I already have a sound card, but I don't think this will do it.

I am new to the PC side of keyboarding and would like some suggestions on Patch editing softwares and useful softwares that I can use w/ my T3.

Pls email me at bigtuan@etrademail.com

Hi,

in my opinion, the only thing you'll need is a midi adapter cable for your soundcard and maybe a midi cable extension if your keyboard is too far away from your computer. the adapter cable is usually connected to the joystick port of the soundcard. the other end of this cable has to be attached to the midi input/output plug of your t3. you'll be still able to connect a joystick to the soundcard because the adapter cable will have a plug for it.

hope this helped,

SiD
