if you were me which instrument would you prefer: Korg N5 or Ensoniq TS-10.

I would go with the Korg. I have a TS12 which has been in the shop more than it has been out, at least it seems this way. Once the warranty expired, so did the matrix board, the disk drive and now the keypad display.
By the way, my TS has been in the shop since July 7th waiting for E-mu/Ensoniq to send the parts.
Aside from the repair issue, I quickly found the limits of the TS. Where most manufacturer's presets only touch on the true potential of the machine, when you listen to the preset programs of the TS, you are hearing it is capeabilities in whole. The only plus I can think of is the TS has very good drums, I will miss these. As soon as it clears the shop, I will be selling it at a more than reasonable price.
