I want to get the korg N364 off ebay in a few weeks if its being sold still. But if I cant, I was wondering if the X5D has all the sounds the N364 does. Or just SOME of them. I know it has the same engine and whatnot.

Like does the X5D have prog.B90 Universe X and so on?

Well I managed to find out about the sounds myself, but I have one last question.

If I buy an X5D, is it possible to download the other samples from the N364 onto the X5D? If so, then im definately gonna buy it.

As far as I know the X5D features most (if not all) the ROM waveforms of the X5, 05R/W and N364. It's wave memory is *not expandable( so you cannot transfer samples (Although there was an odd type of RAM upgrade that allowed you to load AKAI samples. I cannot confirm that part though).

Since all these synths share the same synth engine the program/combi data should be compatible. At least judging by the specs.
