Some sad news people, Dr,Robert Moog is no longer with us.
So turn off your keyboards for a minute please.. you probably wouldn't hve them in front of you if it wasn't for this man.

R.I.P. Bob we all owe you so much for your invaluable contribution to the development of electronic synthesizers and its profound influence on modern music.

Bob kept so active in music electronics right up to the end. I last saw him at Winter NAMM in Los Angeles earlier this year. He was always there at the Moog stand at the NAMM shows and was a very approachable guy who would always take the time to talk with visitors to his stand.

I'm sorry to hear about that!
I have many recordings in my CD board here with Moog's smooth synth sounds. Mannfred Mann's Earth Band and Uriah Heep are only two of them. This man brought us some big advantages for our music - sound syntheses and smooth filters inside small and light cases!

Whenever I'm composing Rock songs I'm thinking of Moog, Hammond, Kurzweil, Oberheim, Waldorf, Fender, Gibson and Washburn. Without those great names, where would we stand today? Rest in peace, Bob!!!
