Just found out that Stevie Wonder wrote Superstition for Jeff Beck. Beck said that Stevie sounded so good he should release it, and it became one of Wonders biggest hits.

The great Hohner part that many of us have struggled to play was actually 8 tracks...no wonder no one sounded like the recording.

They used the multiple guitars to emulate what Stevie did with the Clavinet, worked out nice.

Oh wow that sure is something I didn't know. Knowing Jeff's guitar style on Blow By Blow he could have done a great version of it too. A pity he and Stevie didn't record it together. That would have been an interesting collaboration.

Talking of Jeff a friend of mine in Australia sent me Tal Wilkenfeld's CD. Boy she is an awesome bass player. No wonder Jeff picked up on her. He is an outstanding judge of talent.
