Hmm, I find Deep Purple's original Black Magic Woman better. Also I find Gary Moore's version of Still Got The Blues better. But the band has a good power and some good musicians.
The only thing that I don't understand is - why don't they make their own music??? They have a really good line-up...

Howdy Sheriff, uh, sir....

Hey, I thought Santana originated Black Magic Woman. Never knew Deep Purple did it. Is that for real??

Well done, Scott!!!

Now I have my doubts about Deep Purple. I can't find the CD called "As and Bs" but it's absolutely possible that you're right. Maybe I confused the title with Deep Purple's Black Night which is also a good and rhythmic song...

Black Magic Woman has the typical samba rhythms by Carlos Santana in it. I had to learn playing Samba Pati by my guitar teacher long time ago. But I didn't like Samba or latin styles at this time. So, I went over to cover songs by Deep Purple...

There is a style in my SD1 called Latin Rock, that is perfect for Santana's Black Magic Woman. Oops I forgot I'm supposed to be doing country.

Don! If we will meet us once a time I'll trim you to play country latin rock - you the country, me the rock and we both the latin style...

My Gibson is perfect for playing Santana stuff...

Hey, Fat Kat! Are you really a member of Fat Katz or is the conclusion a happenstance?
Cool sounds, good making!
Again the question: Why don't you make your own songs with THAT genius line-up?
Regards, Danny

Things are changing soon Im going to do most of the vocals, our lead singer is on his way out, and the sax player is going to go to.The reason is because the clubs around here don't want to pay the big bucks for a 6 piece band so we are going to down-size.
NOW FOR THE GOOD PART Im going to buy a guitar Synth. a Roland GR-33 I will be able to get all the sax, trumpet, trombone and key board I need and harmonist feature that is very cool. Now all I have to do buy it and learn to us the thing HA HA Fat Kat Jeff
