Hello! I have a problem with QS300 sounds. Well, it's like this. I downloaded some sounds from internet and when playing them in VOICE mode, they sound great, but when playing them from SONG mode or from a Cakewalk or other MIDI sequencer thru MIDI connection, they don't sound as they shoud. Looks like main settings for the sample that make that sound are ignored. Please HELP me!!!!

No wonder, it's the problem of every synth. In Voice Mode you have just one sound (max. 4 sounds layered) and these Sounds are using different effects... In performance mode, you have only 2 effects and 2 ins for EVERY 16 Midi Channels... If you use sounds with different effects just the main effect of the performance will be used...!

But when I listen to QS-300 demo songs they sound unbeliveable. It must be a way to achieve that greatness of sounds.

And there is also another problem. If I load a MIDI song onto my QS-300 I can't select XG sound. Only GM sound are available in both, in TG-B and in normal mode. I was trying to fix this using syste exclusive messages GM-RESET, XG-RESET but nothing works. Dammn.

Can anybody help me?
