wondering if anyone is playing around w/ the SU200 -- reactions as to ease of sampling, ease of integrating it into a MIDI setup, etc. resampling feature looks cool for a phrase sampler, but was wanting firsthand info before jumping in. thanks.

i had for some month the SU-700, and now i've tried the SU-200; now i have none of them
i can say that it's really simple and immediate (...sorry for my english...
timescretch on bmp in 1 second, awesome effects,but....
i mean: you buy a mchine that is only a loop macker, ONLY.
the SU-700 permits to make also other stuff, like complex songs; has a terrific 40 track sequencer...the SU-200 NO!!
i think that this is a machine that you buy, and you are happppyyyy for 2 weeks,..then you ask : "..and now?"
you know what i mean?
it has almost no midi (only midi in
and, the memory: no possibilities to connect via scasi an external device, like the immortal ZIP drive for sample-people...
only expensive smart-cards...
it's the same way of the Electribe ES-1 sampler: good sounds (or posiibilities to sample)and brutally grab effects, but ,at the end, insignificant machines...
if you are in loopy way, i think it could be better for you the SU-700, or better then all the fantastic new Roland VP-9000 (but this one is really expensive!!!)
