Does anyone have the "official" weight of the KN7000? I'm hoping it's not any heavier than the KN6000.

According to Walt Tenay, Keybstud@sccoast.net, the weight of the KN7000 is 38.8 pounds and the KN6000 weighs 34 pounds.

OOOH! 38.8 pounds sounds heavy to me. I have more than enough trouble with my KN6000 at a mere 34 pounds.

I was afraid it might end up weighing more. I imagine the improved speaker system is why.

Thanks. Marilyn

Not only is it a few pounds heavier, it's also 3 inches longer that the 6500, hence my old carrying case does not ift, nor does my old keyboard cover.
