i to hail from the great land of oz i am the scarecrow. in the mountains behind the gold coast is where i dwell. the weather is supoyb(thats for the yorkers) all year round, inversely proportional to the local music scene unfortunately. i'm doing a degree in popular music at queensland conservatorium. we have have norwegions, swedes, poms and yanks in our studios,(2 pro tools tdm systems with pro controllers the new mackie system with controller and dp3 entered via an old o2r. 4 control rooms 5 studios and 2 practice rooms with motu into dp3 with sac2 controllers). the degree is for original artists with tech skills so if you want the best studio rates for three years(free) in a nice climate, send your demo over to audition thru Griffith University

It really is quite amazing how far and wide we all come from.

I have a little forum of my own on a website that I look after (nothing to do with music), but there's only a handful of people who use it.

Nigel must be really proud to have such a varied and lively community up and running.

It just shows you how many musical types are out there. I took my keyboard to the local skating rink to play for the Xmas party and a dozen keyboard players came out of the woodwork to have a chat.
