NV
NE

Hi Anthony,

DE indicates that Digital Effects are added to the sound.
NE indicates that No (digital) Effects are added to the sound.
NV indicates that No Vibrato is added to the sound.

The * means the sound is from the SoundExplorer bank and not the the SoundGroup
Bank.

Hi Barry,

Yes the asterisk (*) sounds are only accessed through the Sound Explorer bank but the asterisk meams that they belong to the General MIDI groups of sounds. There are many other sounds accessed only through Sound Explorer bank that do not have an asterisk. e.g. Compare the number of sounds accessed via the Organ & Accordion bank with those in the corresponding Sound Explorer groups.

Yes,

And I noticed that the text of Sounds can have a color if they are select from one of the Expansion Boards. Each Expansion Board has its own color.
