I think in 2026 we should see the next model.
This is my wish list for the DGX-680
1. dedicated increase and decrease Tempo buttons. 2. separate Left and Right 1/4" Outputs 3. 1/4" output connectors for the triple pedals 4. micro editing features for the Midi recorder/editor aka Song Creator 5. a 76 key version would be much more portable than an 88 key 6. old fashioned MIDI IN/OUT connectors 7. dedicated Dual, Harmony and DSP buttons located on the panel for easily turning them On/Off 8. eight registration memories instead of 4 9. assignable buttons, at least 4 10. assignable sliders ( for organ sound or volume control ) 11. expression pedal connection 12. two headphone outputs (one 1/4" one 3.5mm) 13. a 7" touch screen

By the way, since you live in Ontario CA, you don't know some giant music stores like we have in the US (Guitar Center) nearby Toronto?
What I'm looking for is to go to a music store in Toronto that would have a Genos on display, so I can try it out. However, it could be any kind of store, it doesn't have to be a big one, as long as they have the Genos.

Frankly I would be surprised to see Yamaha add all of those arranger/workstation features to a mid-priced style piano. If you really need them, you could get them now with a PSR-SX720 and an 88-key weighted controller. With some fiddling I believe that you could achieve workable ergonomics and positioning, but the end result would look out of place in your living room!
Buttons sliders and additional pedal inputs are probably the most expensive things to add to an existing model other than a much larger display. Software upgrades and sounds/styles are a pretty easy add, but those things need a case remodel and additional circuitry to translate the inputs to digital commands.
I think every wishlist should be accompanied by a dollar figure we’d be willing to pay for them! That might help manufacturers decide on whether to take them seriously 😂🎹💵

I'll share the following info, just in case there are DGX-670 owners out there who do not know that there are hidden voices (instruments) inside the DGX-670. To access them, download the zip file from the link below, extract it and put it on a USB stick, than connect it to the DGX-670, go inside the Voice section and either play(access) it directly from the USB or copy the folder to the User (section).
