I am in the process of converting some midi files into audio so that they can be used without taking the BK9 out on a gig. I have a midi file player on my PC connected to the BK9 usb port. However, I cannot get the BK9 to respond to midi input from the midi files sent. How would I set up the BK to receive midi file input?

Check the MIDI settings…

But honestly, if I were you I would put the MIDI files on a stick and play them from the BK9. The reason for this is it would easily allow you to use the Makeup Tools to edit the files, which opens up a world of improvement, using the best sounds and kits, adding FX or EQ to Parts, and one of my favorite tricks, putting Markers into the file so it’s a snap to add extra solo sections (nice to have short and long versions depending on the crowd, or someone sitting in!).
