Bulk edit for Roland BK. I don't know if this is possible, I've run out of ideas but is there anyway to edit all your Preformances at once without having to go thru them one by one. For Example: I want to change my Arranger setting from Left to Whole on all of them. Also my D Beam settings. I have about 80 preformances I use so its quite a boring job to go thru all of them. The Preformance Hold function doesn't seem to do anything. Tried the iPad Roland Apps and nothing there to do this.
Thanks in advance.

Bill I see you frustration, it's the same with my Yamaha. I don't own a BK9, but reading the manual can the Value dial do this job for you? It seems you can select certain parts of a performance listing and it reads like that is for all listings. Sorry if I'm wrong, which is highly probable.

the dial takes you thru a menu and then thru the parameters you can edit. No way to do multiple Preformances or song setups aor whatevery Yamaha calls them. I've spent about 4 hours todays spinning that dial. there is a function called Preformance Hold which when selected holds prevents cahnges to that setting. Even with them all off the setting swill not transfer from one Preformance to another. To be long winded if I have a Preformace with the settings I like and choose another preformance I would thing the settings would transfer NOPE !So I don't understand the function of that parameter. I 've tried all types of settings but no go. So its one at a time. Changing my way of playing so its more time spent editing and less time playing. I should just play Piano

I feel for you, same problem with Yamaha editing registrations, except the "freeze" button is helpful in some cases.
Looks like you have enough equipment to just play just piano. Roland's piano voices are very good!

Oh yea, I've got the Fp90 for just piano. Plus a BK7M to jam with. Fantastic board but the BK9 has the weight to make it the gig instrument.

I owned two Roland Keyboards and for one reason or another got stuck with Yamaha ones. Still regret to this day I sold the Rolands and did not buy a BK9 when I had the chance. Too late now. I'm getting better and better along with the PSR S975, don't gig anymore, so I should be satisfied with what I have, even though I miss additional keys, although an 88 with a module is something to consider.(?)

depending on your keybed preference maybe a Digital Piano with a BK7M (very hard to find) or a BK5 midied to it would give you a lot of versatility

So Bill, what I'm reading that the BK5 is actually a BK7M with keys?

As much as I can tell yes. BK9 has more features but also hard to find.
