I have a KN 7000 equipt with the 12 foot pedals to play like an organ. Whenever I sequence something using the pedals, on playback, they don't record. Is there something special to do to get the pedals to record on the sequencer?

Hi Mark,

If you wish to record a track driven from an external MIDI device it is necessary to make sure that the appropriate part is set to Record before commencing to play. I don't know whether this is possible using the MIDI pedal setting on the KN 7000. If not change the MIDI input/Pedal switch to MIDI input (switch off the keyboard first). You can then assign an appropriate part and MIDI channel to suit your pedal settings (I use Part 15 and MIDI channel 15) and configure that part to the required pedal voice. Make sure you set the required part to Record before commencing your recording.
