Hi Donny,

Really enjoyed watching this thank you for posting. The Genos is one hell of an instrument. With all these modern keyboards now sounding incredible, I often think how much better can it get because there's only so much you can make something sound as good as the real thing, then how can it go beyond when you've reached it ! It will be just about features and technology from now on I think.

Have listen to pro VSTs (That are used in professional film and music production) and you will soon realise that there is a long way to go to get realistic voices on an arranger.
Here are just 2 of the many that are out there VSL and Hauptwerk

Danny I agree but what can always get better
is the way someone plays and goes about creating their music.
the keyboard is just a tool. maybe someday you'll go with just s Genos instead of two arrangers?..
Have fun playing.

Bill how close does Wersi units come to VST quality these days?....
although I have many VST sounds on my DAW it is far more complicated to create, arrange, and produce songs vs an all in one arranger kb.
Just a different way of doing it...

100% right, the player is what brings out the best of any instrument.

I don't think I'll ever part with a couple of my keyboards, especially the T4 as it as sentimental value as well (part of it was a gift). If the Genos was 61 keys I would have owned it already, I don't have the room for the long sized length of the Genos. The 61 keyboards just about fit in the area I use them in.

I used to be like that until I read the book on hoarding and cleaned up my act realizing if I don't use it out it goes.
Now I can think straight and pick and choose when the need calls.

Have fun

You can load VSTs into a Wersi and use them as if they were just a normal inbuilt voice, as can be seen here https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCQ_QO0l4rV9zfPacRKCIAJw

Bill...very kool...
I gotta say the layout on these Wersi units is awesome and certainly my favorite....love the big display, draw-bars etc,..
and able to play VSts is a big plus also....
I love the way they are always updating so you don't have to keep buying units too..
I never played or owned one But,....
I am intrigued with them and who knows one call to a friend across the pond over at Bonners or other sellers stores and I could possibly have one here down the road.....enjoy your Wersi... I like it!

But then most VST’s are made for studio use..
Where the Genos voices are created for live playing..

For example, most kontakt high end orchestral sounds can only be played with a single hand..
Because the other hand is continously triggering different articulations..

The big advantage of the Genos voices is that there is quite a lot of automation..
Same goes for the Roland super natural sounds..

If I'm wrong, please correct me and post some video about it.
But, Wersi don't sound bad at all.
