More robust low end, the cabinet is wood, mixer section is great, with allot of forward thinking features, comes with a travel bag, and you can get an optional dolly. Not heavy but definilty not light, because of the wood cabinet, It's a bit different with the crossover point, they go up to I believe 240hz, where most others are at 160hz.

Allot of sizzle on the top end, but not offensive, great feedback rejection, great 1 dial eq design, buttery effects for vocals, a dedicated output and control for monitor, and extra outputs.

I would say the Evox Jmix8 is #1, but now the Yamaha is a very close 2nd, and in someways #1, price is much better, and the wood cab, better, I think the app and overall sound goes to the Jmix8 but not by much

The units that I have sole are doing great, not much play time since Covid, I sell more Maui 5s than Stagepas. HK just added 2 entries to the affordable portable line-array field, which between the sound and price point, are the winners, they only thing they lack would be SPL, but they still get loud. They also include the cover and carry bag
